Open midi file. Than click “Edit - Select melody track”.

Select several Track/Channel. Or select them all. Use sliding controls to see midi note pitches like on the picture. View window shows only melody pitches.

Select Tracks one by one until you find melody track. Usually it looks like several not overlapped pitches.
